Kholle House Boutique Hotel

Simply put Kholle house is 'Fit for a Princess'! Why? Well...... it was built by one, in 1860 as an magnificient showcase for her (Princess Kholle) most treasured collectibles inlcuding fine china, furnishings and artefacts from around the world. It was a beautiful space where the princess would entertain her friends and visiting dignitaries.

The building was restored for three years, creating something that we are certain would make the Princess proud! Each of the 9 rooms in the house is uniquely designed, think  Arabian-Swahili meets French-Creole.

The re-design and architecture of Kholle house has been artistically and thoughtfully planned in every minute detail from stained windows to tumeric painted walls and polished nutmeg coloured flooring with inlaid marble accents (from the original Kholle house) reflecting the many shades of vibrant Zanzibarian spices. 

Kholle House is so much more than a 9 room boutique hotel, it is a historcal and artistic sleep 'experience' and one that ticks all the romance boxes, we actually think it might be fit for a Queen now!
