The idea behind the Green Ocean Boutique Hotel was to create an oasis of peace for our guests in a central location to the most beautiful places on the east coast of Zanzibar. The east coast impresses from Michamvi via Paje, Jambiani, to Mtende and Kizimkazi with different, unique beaches that are worth visiting. Immerse yourself in the hustle and bustle of bars, restaurants and water sports in neighboring Paje, or relax with a sunset tour in Michamwi to the mangroves or rocky coast in Mtende or Kizimkazi. Then you come home to your jungle villa, into the peace and quiet of nature with its unique birds and background noises and an amazing African sunset on your private roof top terrace. Your villa is right in the middle of everything! We have jungle villas from 2 person up to 6 person.

Our breakfast is freshly prepared using locally sourced fruits and vegetables from nearby farms, ensuring a delicious and sustainable start to your day. Explore our famous Coconut Shakshuka, the Avocado Mango Salad with eggs or the sweet Avocado Bowl with tropical fruits and selfmade Granola. And the best part? You can enjoy it anywhere you desire, be it in one of the small cozy treehouses hidden between the trees, in the 7 meter treehouse with an amazing bush view, or by the poolside in our lush garden.
