We are happy to announce the inauguration of the Cultural & Seaweed tour in Kilimajuu! The tour directly supports the MAMA CHUMU women’s cooperative with 100% of the payments going to the local community!

The tour includes:
- Experience of local customs and lifestyle 
- ⁠Learning about seaweed: It’s farming, benefits & challenges
- Cultural exchange between visitors & seaweed farmers 
- Seaweed snack & juice
- ⁠Chance to buy products from the women’s cooperative

The tour takes around 1,5 hours and costs 15usd per person.

CULTURAL & SEAWEED TOUR🪸
Learn about Zanzibar local life and visit the seaweed farmers of Kilimajuu (Matemwe). Members of the women’s cooperative welcome visitors to their homes, village and seaweed farm. All income goes directly to the community!
