Join us at Mama’s Pottery Workshop for a unique, hands-on experience where you’ll connect with local culture and support the community.

Our pottery classes are a relaxed and freestyle journey—choose your own design or get inspired by our many samples.

We provide the clay, and the mamas will guide you through the process of crafting your piece.

After 4 days of resting on the sand, your creation will be fired on top of coconut husks, giving it a beautiful rustic orange hue, ready for you to take home.

With views overlooking the Indian Ocean and aprons provided, it’s the perfect way to create something meaningful while embracing Zanzibar’s local traditions.
