SANDBANK & PRISON ISLAND

START AT STONE TOWN: We pick up our guests from the beach in front of the Tembo House Hotel and set sail towards Prison Island. Our onboard guide will share stories and answer any questions.

PRISON ISLAND: The island is 3 Nm (5 km) from the shore and offers a stunning view of the Zanzibari coastline. Enjoy a stroll and learn about the island's history or snorkel above the colorful reef.

GIANT TURTLES SANCTUARY: Visit the sanctuary of critically endangered Aldabra giant tortoises, the second-largest tortoises in the world. Learn about their conservation efforts and feed the tortoises.

SNORKELING: Snorkel in the crystal-clear waters around Prison Island, witnessing vibrant coral reefs and colorful tropical fish. This underwater adventure is perfect for nature enthusiasts and adventure seekers.

SANDBANK: Experience the pristine sandbanks that appear and disappear with the tides, surrounded by shimmering waters. Walking on a sandbank is an unforgettable experience. STONE

TOWN COASTLINE: Sail along the coast of Zanzibar's capital, admiring the sunset and historic Stone Town. Capture unique views and photos as we return to the Tembo House Hotel around 6.30pm. RETURN AT SUNSET REMARKS: Toilets and bathrooms are available throughout the cruise. Boarding only in soft-soled shoes. Tickets to the turtle sanctuary not included ($12).

MNEMBA ISLAND

START AT NUNGWI BEACH: Guests are picked up and transported to Nungwi Beach, where they board a luxury catamaran. After a safety briefing, we set sail toward the exclusive Mnemba Island.

DOLPHIN SPOTTING: As we cruise toward Mnemba, keep an eye out for dolphins that frequent these waters. Watching these magnificent creatures is always a highlight of the journey.

SNORKELING AT MNEMBA REEF: Arrive at Mnemba Island and dive into the crystal-clear waters for a snorkeling adventure. Explore the vibrant Mnemba Reef, home to colorful coral formations and a diverse array of marine life, including tropical fish, sea turtles, and sometimes even small reef sharks.

RELAX ON THE BOAT: After snorkeling, relax on the spacious catamaran deck, soaking in the sun and enjoying the breathtaking views of the island. Refreshments, including tropical fruits and cold drinks, are served on board.

LEISURE SWIM & SUNBATHING: Take a leisurely swim in the turquoise waters surrounding Mnemba Island or simply sunbathe on the catamaran. The calm and serene environment offers a perfect escape.

RETURN TO NUNGWI: As the afternoon winds down, we sail back to Nungwi Beach, enjoying the scenic coastal views. Guests are then transported back to their accommodations, concluding the trip around.

BLUE SAFARI

START AT FUMBA VILLAGE: Guests are picked up and taken to Fumba Village, located in Menai Bay Conservation Area. After a short briefing, we board a luxury catamaran to begin our Blue Safari adventure.

DOLPHIN WATCHING: As we cruise through Menai Bay, watch for playful dolphins that frequent these waters. Enjoy the chance to observe them in their natural habitat.

SNORKELING: Stop at one of the vibrant coral reefs for a snorkeling session. Dive into the crystal-clear waters to explore the underwater world teeming with colorful fish and marine life.

SANDBANK EXPERIENCE: Arrive at a pristine sandbank surrounded by turquoise waters. Relax on the white sandy beach, take a swim, or continue snorkeling around the sandbank's coral reef. KWALÉ

ISLAND EXPLORATION: Visit Kwalé Island to explore its lush mangroves and stunning landscapes. Take a guided tour of the island's natural wonders, learning about the local flora and fauna.

LAGOON SWIM: End the day with a swim in a natural lagoon surrounded by mangroves on Kwalé Island. The calm, clear waters provide the perfect setting for a refreshing dip.

​RETURN TO FUMBA: As the afternoon progresses, we sail back to Fumba Village on the luxury catamaran, enjoying the scenic views of the coastline. Guests are then transported back to their accommodations, concluding the safari.
