Leave from Kizimkazi, lean back and enjoy the sound of the waves for 1.5 hours sailing until you reach the Pungume corals - one of Zanzibar's top 3 snorkelling spots. After snorkelling you will continue to a deserted beach far from mass tourism or the Pungume sandbank if the tides allow. While enjoying the beach, the sea and the view, the crew will prepare a delicious BBQ that is guaranteed to impress you with the local cuisine. Sea treasures together with local specialities and exotic fruits are on the menu. After lunch it’s time for a little rest, reading, taking a swim or just enjoying the breathtaking views. With a cold beverage in hand and a camera to immortalize paradise, there is not much more you need...

Price per person includes boat, snorkelling equipment, seafood BBQ with exotic fruit, water and soda, and Menai Bay Conservation Area fee. Add: White wine, South Africa, Sauvignon Blanc for US$ 25 per bottle or Local Beer 50 cl for US$ 3 per bottle.

Please take a beach towel, wear swimwear under your clothes (if wished) and apply a good amount of sun blocker with a high UV rating (reeffriendly sunscreen please) to avoid sunburn. If possible please bring suitable beach footwear. It is water entry. Please wear clothing that can be pulled up above the knee, in case the water is a bit high.

Setting off by sail on the Indian Ocean with a traditional dhow is something truly special. With wind in the sail and a cold drink in your hand, you cruise around while the sun casts amber gold over the land and sea. A red sun, horizon and the beautiful features of the wood dhow make perfect photo opportunities.
After the sailing, we can arrange for you a seafood BBQ on the beach incl. rock lobster, catch of the day, calamari, coconut sauce, chapati, bread, fruit, water and soda - AT ADDITIONAL COST.
